Public Arts Controversy Resolved

This is a followup on an earlier story in which various organizations expressed security concerns with the first public arts project here at Albert Way. Happily all of the issues have been successfully addressed, and Mitsu Overstreet will be able to complete his work which consists of a large number of angled walls painted with representations of native healing plants.
The resolution seems to be simply a matter of building them closer to the edge of the park so there is no room for anyone to hide behind them. Glad this is resolved and all of the work can continue.
The next project is to be a crime victims memorial set in a park byYarborough and Judge Mares library. Boulder artist Ken Bernstein is to design this and is going to be here tomorrow to look at the site, and the city.
