EPMA -Power point lecture by Director Michael Tomor of the exhibit Monet-Matisse . There was such a huge demand at the last zip tour of this show, that Tomor has decided to give a presentation of the works in the auditorium. Attending the lecture entitles one to free admission to the exhibit. The auditorium holds 212 people and seats are given on a first come first served basis. 12:15 pm.
IADA– A day of creative encounter in Juarez at the Institute of Architecture, Design and Art of UACJ
Zona Maco-Ok, this is in Mexico City, but definitely worth mentioning. Opening of the 8th edition of this international contemporary fair. A look at the exhibitors reveals how international in scope this fair has become. In addition to galleries which have been with the fair for awhile awhile like Gallerie Krinzinger, Nicolai Wallner, Galleria Luisa Strina and Massimo de Carlo there are also a host of Spanish galleries and galleries like from Spain, but there are also Hauser and Wirth from London and David Zwirmer from New York in addition to local favorites like Kurimanzutto and Myto among others. Fair runs through the 10th.

Rubin Center-Opening of juried student show. Judges for the show are Ruth Estevez, Curator at Carillo Gil Museo de Arte in Mexico City and award winning designer Alejandro Magallanes also from Mexico City. Reception is from 5-7 with the announcement of awards at 6. -david sokolec
