The El Paso Museum of Art is presenting a lercture and book signing by Julie Pierotti, Assistant Curator of the Dixon Gallery and Garden. This is of course in conjunction with the recently opened show From Monet to Matisse, which features 30 works by significant artists from that time period which comes from the Dixon Gallery. the lecture will be about the “second life” of these paintings, that is the life these paintings led after they left the studio and presumably before they arrived at the Dixon gallery. Attendance at the lecture entitles one to free admission to the exhibit, which is normally $10 for those who are not members and $5 for those who are.- David Sokolec
