Juarenses Artists in Oaxaca reaction

I have been waiting for a promised first person article about the recent Oaxaca show by 5 Juarense artists, but since I have not received it, I will go ahead and write what I was told and publish a link to the review in the local Oaxaca paper. (see the link at the bottom of this post)
Everyone told me the show was a big success woth a lot of people who were extremely interested in the art and the artists (Andrea Gussi, Arturo Alanis, Cecilia Briones,Tomas Contreras and Gabriel Diaz In addtion to the show, hey were taken on a tour of various important sites in the area like Mitla. Events like this can only be good not only for the artists but also for our region. I hope they will be able to continue, and thanks to the Museum of Archaeology at Chamizal in Juarez for their help in putting this together-David Sokolec
