First of all, There is an ongoing show I just saw a poster for yesterday. At the Museo de Archaeologia at Chamizal in Juqarez there is an installation by Luz Saenz called “Contigo viene la muerto” (With you comes death). i haven’t seen it though from the card it looks as though there are large cones with figures inside. It opened on the 20th and will be up until the 28th of July.
Wednesday 25
As part of the ongoing binational art 2008 exhibit at the EPMA, two artists from the show will talk about their art on Wednesdays at 12:15. This Wednesday it is Photographer and Juarez Life publisher Luis Pegut and Rami Scully. These talks are free and last about a half hour.
Thursday
Teresa Fernandez is giving a talk about her one woman show at the Hal Marcus studio/gallery. Starts at 7 pm.
Saturday June 28
INBA is having an open house called A day at the Museum with tours and workshops on the theme of autoportrait. Free 10-2pm
